Who We Are

Since founding her own immigration law firm in New York City in early 2009, Candice Ackermann has represented dozens of individuals and multinational corporate clients in connection with a wide array of U.S. immigration law matters, including preparation and filing of non-immigrant visa petitions, family and employment-based green card applications, and applications for citizenship.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Ackermann worked for over five years as an Associate practicing exclusively in the area of immigration law for some of the nation’s premier immigration law firms, and representing some of the world’s largest health care facilities, financial institutions, religious organizations, and professional corporations. 

Ms. Ackermann has also represented numerous foreign nationals of extraordinary ability in the arts and sciences, successfully attaining approvals of visa and green card petitions for world renowned musical performers, internationally acclaimed scientists, and information technology experts.

A graduate of Harvard University and Boston University School of Law, Ms. Ackermann is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the American Bar Association (ABA), the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA), The Association of the Bar of the City of New York, and The New York County Lawyers Association (NYCLA).  Ms. Ackermann is also fluent in Spanish and proficient in Hebrew.
